OUR FOUNDERS
Emilia Moniszko
Founder / MD
Emilia has over a decade of expertise in digital storytelling, brand strategy, and inclusivity advocacy. She leads business development at Blunt & Brave, overseeing the creative team and managing client relations. With a strong background in digital marketing and cultural policy, she has led multistakeholder projects in education, culture, and community sectors. Previously, she worked as a Video Producer, Digital Comms Officer, and Lecturer of Social Innovation at the University of Warwick. Emilia specialises in authentic storytelling and strategic brand and content development.
Kirk Hastings
Programme Director
Kirk leads the Blunt & Brave Digital Academy, forging partnerships with schools and communities to equip young people with creative digital skills. With a background in music, education, and esports, he bridges technology and the arts, employing innovative tools to enhance learning. He has designed educational esports programmes, supporting over 700 students and integrating creativity with technology. Kirk’s work focuses on preparing the next generation for an evolving digital world, ensuring they develop the skills needed to thrive in createch industries.
OUR STORY
2020
Made Leamington Spa our temporary home and got selected for the Creative Futures Programme
During this time, we collaborated with fellow incubator member Creative Leamington to deliver the Leamington Young Talent Festival funded by Warwickshire County Council.
2022
We empowered 200 young people across Warwickshire with Digital Skills
By programming and delivering Warwick Esports Centre's first educational programme as part of the Esports Futures project.
2023
We've supported over 50 organisations across the country
From global organisations like Eurovision to community-focused events like Birmingham 23 and Migration Matters Festival in Sheffield.
2024
We launched our Digital Academy
Thanks to a grant from Warwickshire County Council, Emilia and Kirk launched the Blunt & Brave Digital Academy, born from their shared passion for education
One year on, the Academy has made strides, launching a Creative Tech Summer Camp, partnering with Warwickshire Libraries, and delivering workshops across Coventry and Warwickshire
